As per research , GLA: D program will reduce your dependence on pain killers, decrease the pain you are experiencing and improve both physical function and activity.
Who can benefit from the GLA: D Program?
If you are witnessing any form of arthritis, especially hip & knee, GLA: D program can help you. You don’t need a GP recommendation to join the program.
How does the GLA: D Program work?
The GLA: D Hip & Knee Program lasts for 6 weeks. Here is how it unfolds:
GLA: D’s success is dependent on both educating you and aiding your healing process. That’s why we start the program with two free educating sessions. In the very first session, we take you through the very meaning of arthritis, its common symptoms, causes and probable treatment methods.
In the second session, we take a deeper dive into the treatment for alleviating the arthritis pain.
Post these two sessions, we start the part of the program designed as the healing component. Here, we begin with establishing a baseline to understand the intensity of pain and to get a better understanding of your general physical profile. This is also the stage where we introduce you with the exercises.
The dedicated exercise sessions last for 6 weeks, with two sessions per week. GLA: D is designed around to focus on your specific profile and feedback on the exercise. Hence, after the 6 week period, we reassess your condition and chart a way forward.
