How does cancer rehabilitation work at Trucare?
Our rehabilitation program is designed to help you with all the stages of recovery and treatment. We don’t take a template approach to Cancer Rehabilitation. Instead, we start working with you from day one to understand your specific case and provide you with a plan specifically designed for you.
We have a designed a 3-step Cancer Rehabilitation Program:

MANUAL PHYSIOTHERAPY AND RESISTANCE TRAINING
Going through Cancer treatment is an exhausting experience. It drains your body out of its natural state of flexibility, strength and fitness. Hence, we kick-start our Cancer Rehabilitation by taking you through our dedicated Manual Therapy and Resistance Training modules.
We have a dedicated Manual Therapy program that covers a wide range of therapeutic methods like massaging, dry needling and guided muscle movement. Integrated into your Cancer Rehab program, this will help you regain and improve your mobility.
We pair this with Resistance Training that helps you take advantage of your increased muscular mobility to increase your core strength.
Since this is the initial stage of the program, we also help you mentally cope with the stress by taking you through our educational modules. These are designed to give you more information about the upcoming sessions and how they will help you in your rehabilitation journey.

GROUP THERAPY PROGRAM
We have a standalone Group Therapy program that helps people increase their overall level of fitness, with a special emphasis on core strength and flexibility. This expertise and background allows us to build on it and help you with your Cancer Rehabilitation.
The 10-week program is designed for people who have undergone their Cancer treatment and are no eager to take the next step towards comprehensive recovery. Our in-house rehabilitation expert will start with assessing your fitness profile and then build a plan around it. Our programs are ideally designed and comfortable for all ages and fitness levels.
All the Group Therapy sessions are meant to help you gain stamina, strength and flexibility.

SUPER PROGRAM
Stand Up Paddling for Effective Rehabilitation (SUPER) Program is the final stage of Cancer Rehabilitation at TruCare. There are several forms of exercises you can take up for gaining improved mobility and strength. But SUPER allows you to do this, without taking the stress of ‘exercising’. Stand-Up Paddling adds an element of fun and camaraderie to your regular exercise sessions.
